What is psychodiagnostics?
Psychodiagnostics is a professional psychological assessment that helps us understand how a child (or adult) thinks, learns, feels and behaves. Through standardised tests, conversation and observation we get an objective picture – not a label, but a clear basis for next steps.
When to consider an assessment?
- Your child struggles with learning or concentration
- Teachers notice changes in behaviour
- You want to know if your child is ready for school
- Your child is withdrawn, worried or often sad
- You want a second, objective view before an important decision
What the assessment includes
- Psychological tests of cognitive abilities
- Psychological profile of children and adults
- School readiness evaluation
- Diagnostic tests for developmental disorders

Questions
Before your first visit
How long does the assessment take?
Usually 1–3 sessions depending on age and the question. Your child works through tasks and play, with breaks.
Does my child need to prepare?
No. It only matters that your child is rested. Tell them they will "solve puzzles and play" with a psychologist.
How long is a session and what does it cost?
Sessions last 45–60 minutes. Call 072 232 363 for the current price list – we will give you all the information in advance.
Are conversations confidential?
Yes. All information is strictly confidential and handled in line with data protection law.
